About Me
Dr. Vinayak Nandhanan is a dedicated and highly skilled Consultant Pulmonologist with expertise in respiratory diseases and complicated lung pathologies. He completed his MBBS as best outgoing student team from Wuhan University School of Medicine and his MD in TB and Respiratory Medicine from Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College, Puducherry.
Dr. Vinayak has gained extensive clinical experience through his role as a Senior Resident at Believers Church Medical College Hospital and also served as a Consultant Pulmonologist at MGM Muthoot Hospital, Kozhenchery for more than 2 years. His areas of specialization include airway diseases such as asthma, COPD, and bronchiectasis, as well as interstitial lung diseases, lung cancer, and pulmonary vascular conditions.
He is proficient in a wide range of interventional procedures, including bronchoscopy, pleuroscopy, and USG-guided pleural procedures. Additionally, he manages pulmonary rehabilitation programs, sleep disorders, and provides comprehensive care for tuberculosis and other lung infections (bacterial, viral, and fungal). Dr. Vinayak is also trained in performing allergy skin prick tests and offering smoking cessation counseling.
